Terms and Conditions

C&O Joinery provides a warranty to our customers, ensuring that any cabinet carcass suffering from a failure in its structural integrity due to materials or manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced within 10 years from the installation date. This warranty covers instances where the carcass breaks or cracks under normal domestic use.

For our cabinets, doors, benchtops, and internal fittings, the warranty against defective materials or faulty workmanship is subject to the terms of the manufacturer's limited warranty. We proudly use Hettich or Blum hardware in our kitchens, and these suppliers offer a Lifetime warranty to original purchasers on all drawer runners, hinges, and drawers. This additional guarantee complements any other statutory warranties that typically apply.

Warranty Exclusions

Any cabinet issues arising from natural occurrences or circumstances beyond the control of C&O Joinery, such as cabinets going out of level due to house shifting.
Damage to the cabinets when arranging your own delivery.
Damage resulting from faulty or incorrect installation by anyone not employed or subcontracted by C&O Joinery.
Alterations, modifications, or use of warranted products inconsistent with the supplied instructions without authorisation from C&O Joinery.
Insufficient or improper care, including the use of inappropriate cleaning products.
Natural fading or damage caused by direct or indirect exposure to sunlight, heat, water, etc.
Reasonable wear and tear over time.
Outdoor kitchens, commercial projects, and any cabinetry valued below $5,500 (including GST).

Warranty Claim

Please include the following information in your email:

Your project reference number and address, along with your name and phone number.
A description of the defects found in your kitchen cabinetry, and we kindly request you to attach photographs illustrating the issues.
Upon receiving your claim, we will get in touch with you within 10 working days to discuss the matter further.
Please be advised that prior to processing any claim, C&O Joinery reserves the right to arrange an inspection of the alleged faulty product by an authorized representative. If the inspection reveals that the terms of this warranty do not apply, a call-out fee of $150+GST will be applicable. In cases where a product is no longer available or cannot be repaired, C&O Joinery will, its absolute discretion, offer a suitable replacement.
Important note: For warranty-related replacements that require re-hinging, drilling, or installation of a door, panel, or frame, a call-out fee of $150 + GST (including the first hour of labor) will be charged. After the first hour, an hourly rate of $120+GST will apply.
